I started playing I was about 14-15 years old and although my main instrument was the acoustic guitar , my favorite artist was ELTON JOHN with his over sized glasses and outrageous outfits, I was STAR STRUCK .  My father bought me my first guitar from a music teacher who had bought them, but they bailed out and he was stuck with two Mansfield guitars, one classical and 1 folk. Elvis was still in the news and as soon as I could play three chords I had to learn playing standing...so I could move like ELVIS !
